Welcome Terrell James

We are thrilled to welcome Houston artist Terrell James into the fold of Barry Whistler Gallery. James formerly showed with Gerald Peters Gallery in Dallas, and is currently showing with Borden Butler Gallery in Houston, Froelick Gallery in Portland, Oregon, and Jason McCoy, Inc in New York. The artist will have a small group of new work in the back room of our upcoming exhibition, which opens March 7th.

Lawrence Lee solo show

Lawrence Lee has a one-man show currently at Richland College. The show is comprised of works on paper from the Carter/Wynne collection curated by Randall Garrett of Plush Gallery fame. Michael Wynne and B.I. Carter were some of Lee's first collectors, so the exhibition will cover the breadth of his young but rich career. The exhibition runs through March 6, gallery hours are Monday - Thursday 9-9, Friday 9-4, and Saturday 12-4.
